Many moons ago (May 2012), I wrote about Project Based Learning and the idea of working together.
I think this is important to make genuine progress – this idea of collaboration and open-mindedness to new ideas. I believe people need to be willing to share their knowledge more and to look outside their immediate industry to see how others find solutions and develop personally and professionally.
Clearly social media is perfect for this with the ability to follow an eclectic mix of people and then there are sites such as Quora for asking questions (and LinkedIn). Also there are online learning opportunities and real world exhibitions, courses and conferences. The more you look, the more you learn and the more you learn, the more you can share.
